Nick Jonas From the barber shop to the Broadway stage to the Billboard charts, Nick Jonas, accomplished a lot by the time he turned sixteen in 2007. Nicholas Jerry Jonas was born in At the age of six Nick Jonas was discovered rocking out at a local barber shop where a talent agent took note and signed Nick to become the next Broadway sensation. Nick stared in a flurry of Broadway musicals where Nick was able to show his singing abilities and acting chops. Nick showed his vulnerable side playing Tiny Tim in the seasonal production of The Christmas Carol. After wrapping he played lovable, huggable chip in the Beauty and the Beast, from there he played street rat Gavroche in Les Miserable. After his stint on Broadway ended Nick came back to During his stretch in the theater Nick began writing his own music, composing, “Joy to the World, A Christmas Pray”, which was recorded and featured in the 2002 Equity Fights Aids Album as well as played on Christian radio stations. Once record label executives heard Nick sing, they wanted him to sign a solo record deal. By 2004, Nick Jonas, had released his first self titled record. While working in the studio Nick collaborated with his brother, Kevin and Joe, creating “Please Be Mine”. The label loved the collaboration so much that they singed all three Jonas Brothers as the next singing phenom. From that moment on the Jonas Brothers singed a record deal and became instant hits with fans worldwide. To promote their new sound they went on tour with pop sensation Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana. They also toured with Kelly Clarkson, Aly & AJ, Backstreetboys, The Cheetah Girls, CliskFive, Jessie McCartney and The Veronica's, just to name a few.
