It has just been announced that Chad Ochocinco (born Chad Johnson) has just landed his own reality dating show on VH1. The Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver and Dancing with the Stars (TV) contestant is known for being openly outspoken, an avid Twitter user, and an all around crazy/fun guy. Check out all the details!
85 women will kick off the season of the dating show titled The Tournament and within the first ten episodes that number will be dwindled down to 16. These women will be hailing from all parts of the world, and come week ten, four regions will be featured and continue on the show. Just think of it as the March Madness of dating!
Jeff Olde, Executive VP of VH1, opened up about adding Ochocinco to VH1's lineup and looks forward to their journey together. Olde stated, "Ochocinco is one of the most electrifying individuals in sports today. His bigger-than-life personality on- and off-the-field and his notorious skills as a social networker, connecting daily with his fans, makes him a perfect fit for VH1."
The VP goes on to add, "This show will not only give viewers a look inside his professional life, but also reveal his softer more romantic side when playing a very different kind of game."
