
Battle lines have been drawn since Adam Lambert's racy American Music Awards (TV) performance Sunday night. Fans and critics are holding tight in their bunkers -- ready for war -- and things are getting ugly. Fans can't fend away the naysayers fast enough as public outcry over Lambert's performance hit the web. To make matters worse, and divide the public even more, yesterday ABC announced that there scheduled Adam Lambert segment had been canceled.
Adam Lambert arrived in New York City to begin doing press for his new album For Your Entertainment which debuted November 23rd. The star stopped by Elvis Duran and the Z100 Morning Show while in New York to chat about his new album, his upcoming projects, and of course his AMA performance. Lambert told the morning crew, "I'll admit it; I got carried away in the best possible way." As soon as the singer left Z100, his world was rocked when he heard that he was dropped from his ABC gig.

The GlamGate '09 saga rolls on today as news hits that ABC abruptly announced that they have canceled Lambert's appearance on Good Morning America (TV) set for Wednesday, November 25th. A spokeswoman from ABC spoke with Daily News regarding the controversy and explained, "Given his controversial live performance on the AMA's, we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning."

Hours after being dropped from ABC, CBS announced that Adam Lambert will appear on the Early Show (TV). This is great news for Lambert fans who had already planned trips into New York City from all over the world, including Japan. The always cheerful Adam sat with fans, answered questions, and fans praised him for coming out to CBS this morning despite the ABC debacle.
