What! Dustin Milligan Left 90210?

Every Tuesday night at 8pm the game "Can You Spot Dustin Milligan" begins. The game starts by feverishly trying to catch his name in the opening credits; when that fails, my eyes are so busy bouncing back and forth scanning the screen waiting for him to pop up and high five Nixon (Tristan Wild) that my eyes need a rest. Beverly Hills, 90210: The Next Generation is a good month in and I have yet to spot the hunk; where is he hiding and when will he come back?

Last season Milligan's role was massive; not only did he date Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) and Annie (Shenae Grimes), he also got his paws into Sliver (Jessica Stroup) at the end of the season. But as the sophomore season marches on, Ethan Ward (Dustin Milligan) cannot be found on the West Bev surf team with Nixon and Liam (Matt Lanter), doesn't attend the ultra hip parties with Navid (Michael Steger), and isn't present in Mr. Matthews (Ryan Eggold) third period class anymore. Grrr!!!

So the question remains where in the world is Ethan and why isn't he gracing us with his cute smirks, funny remarks, and cheerful smile every Tuesday? According to EW.com, back in March they reported that Dustin Milligan's character Ethan Ward would be "significantly" downgraded. What! How did that story not get the traction it deserved? Furthermore, why doesn't anyone in the show mention Ethan anymore? They were all BFF's and know all of a sudden he has become chop liver!

EW reports, "Reps for The CW and producer Paramount declined comment, but a 90210 insider confirms that Milligan’s contract option is not being picked up for next season. The source adds that the door is being left open for the actor to briefly appear in the fall to wrap up Ethan’s story." With that said, I guess the game of "Can You Spot Dustin Milligan" must end and I must come to term that Ethan Ward will no longer walk the halls of West Bev with his bestie Nixon and Navid.
