Gossip Girl Season Three Update

Summer is wonderful and all, but not having new episodes of Gossip Girl is really a major drag! Last time we saw the beautiful elite group of Manhattanites, things were settling into place. Chuck finally said those three little words to Blair, a couple of new potentially dangerous characters got added, thickening the plot line and the immersion of Vanessa. Vacay is over for the actors of Gossip Girl as they head back to their New York City trailers to begin filming season three. Hilary Duff has joined the cast of Gossip Girl and will be playing movie star Olivia, Bluck is going strong, and could things be heating up between besties Dan and Vanessa? Filming has only just begun and season three is already heating up thanks to a new character. Within the final moments of the season finale last May, we found out that Scott was the long lost child of Rufus and Lily. Last year, Lily and Rufus went on a quest to find their son but when they were told their son drowned their hearts were broken and their journey ended. But what will happen when they find out that the adopted parents lied and their son, Scott, is alive and well, living and mingling with Gossip Girl's favorite targets?

Scoring Hilary Duff is pretty major and we look forward to her story arch throughout season three. Hilary at this moment is not signed on as a regular cast member, she is only set to appear as a guest star, but knowing Hollywood, anything can change. Plus what is the deal with Blair's arch nemesis becoming her roommate in college? How much do you love the role Michelle Trachtenberg plays on Gossip Girl? EW.com is warning us early on in season three that Dan will have a controversial hookup but won't tell us who? Who do you think? EW.com also noted that Vanessa will finally set out of the cast's shadow and get her time in the limelight. Reports are circulating that she might be romantically linked with Dan's brother Scott. Oh the drama is just scintillating, isn't it?
