Jingle Ball 2009 Set to Dazzle the Masses

'Twas the night before Jingle Ball, when all through the Garden, not a basketball was dribbling, not even by a Knick. The folding chairs were laid out on the floor with care, in hopes that Jingle Ball will soon be here. The artists were nestled in their plush hotel suites with visions of screaming fans and sold out seats. While fans waited anxiously for the gate to open, only fate knows what's in store for Jingle Ball '09.

The annual Jingle Ball concert is heading back to Madison Square Garden and PopStar is planning to score all the dish just for you! We will be your eyes and ears as the star studded backstage fills up with your favorite artists and as celebrities jam into the H&M gift lounge. As the topping on your holiday sundae next week we will be bringing you a full Jingle Ball wrap up with interviews, pictures, and the must have swag the celebs picked up.

Doors open at 6:30pm for fans and while they file in and fill up the arena, backstage artists will be warming up for Z100's official kick off to the holiday season. The lineup for this years' event is stellar -- Taylor Swift, John Mayer, Justin Bieber, The Fray, Jordin Sparks, Kris Allen, Boys Like Girls, Pitbull, Owl City, Jay Sean and Ke$ha. If that isn't star studded enough, expect special appearances from Adam Lambert, Leighton Meester, Miranda Cosgrove, Allison Iraheta, and Peter Facinelli.

Speaking of New Moon hunks hanging backstage, rumors are already firing up that Taylor Launter will be in attendance to support his good friend and Jingle Ball headliner Taylor Swift. Last weekend, at the LA based Jingle Ball, Launter was backstage with Swift the whole night showing his support. Since Launter is hosting SNL on Saturday and will be in rehearsals in NYC all week, we are betting that he will make a cameo at the holiday event.

Portions of the proceeds of this event will be donated to the Food Bank for New York City. For each ticket sold, one dollar of sales will go to the great cause.
