As Oscar season ramps up, Lionsgate is ready to debut their prized film Brothers (2009) starring Natalie Portman, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Tobey Maguire. Brothers (2009) is the troubling story about a family in shambles after learning beloved Captain Sam Cahill (Tobey Maguire) dies while fighting in the Middle East. When Grace Cahill (Natalie Portman) learns that her husband and the father of her children had died, she turns to Sam's brother, Tommy Cahill (Jake Gyllenhaal), for comfort and support during the grieving process.
Brothers (2009) has everything a movie go'er will need and judging by the trailer, major amounts of tissues will be in order. Tobey Maguire is almost unrecognizable as a frail Captain Sam Cahill and his brilliant performance might just be rewarded come March.
