A Nightmare on Elm Street is no different; the sexy men and women starring in this flick are pros and have all had experience working on horror/thriller films. The cast is lead by Kyle Gallner (The Haunting in Connecticut), Katie Cassidy (Taken, Supernatural), Rooney Mara (Urban Legend: Bloody Mary), Thomas Dekker (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles), and Kellan Lutz (Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon).

The most important role of this film has been handed to Academy Award nominee and The Watchmen star Jackie Earle Haley who will be playing Freddy Krueger. On the flip side of the camera, Samuel Bayer, famed award-winning music video and commercial director will be calling the shots. Bayer became well known when he director Nirvana's hit music video Smells Like Teen Spirit and solidified himself as a music video guru when he completed Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams." This will be Bayer's first time behind the camera on a motion picture and judging by the trailer he is doing astounding work.
