Let the speculation begin! MTV has confirmed that not only will Twilight fans get a sneak peak of The Twilight Saga: New Moon at this year's MTV Movie Awards, they will also catch a glimpse of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Launter. The New Moon threesome will be on hand to present fans with one clip from the upcoming film, but the question is, what clip will they show?
Bella's BirthdayIn the opening of New Moon, Bella finds herself at the home of the Cullen's, celebrating her birthday with her love, Edward. Suddenly, the celebration turns to mayhem when Bella becomes the victim of an unwanted vampire attack, promoting Edward to rethink their future together. Since this is the opening of the film, it would be a good way to introduce some of the major characters, plus the action might draw in viewers.
In the book, the moment that Edward leaves Bella the breath is sucked out of the reader and for one second you feel the pain and anguish Bella suffers. This would be a great scene to film because it does not give away any major plot lines and sets up the film for new viewers. Although the scene is lacking action that Jacob and the werewolves bring, it is still a touching and monumental arc in the story.
After working hard on repairing the dirt bikes, Bella and Jacob take them out for a ride, but in true Bella fashion, something goes terribly wrong. Although this clip does not show Edward, it does show the element of friendship shared between Jacob and Bella. If fans could get over not seeing RPattz in the scene, this would be the winner.
Some are guessing that fans will get a sneak peak of Edward fleeing to Volterra, Italy to give up his life after he hears Bella has died. This would be a great scene to see at the MTV Movie Awards, however filming in Italy is set to begin the week of May 25 and the awards show is set for the 30th, so we are guessing it won't be edited and completed in time.
Let the speculation begin! Tell us what you think will happen. Which of the scene would you like MTV to preview at the MTV Movie Awards? Is there a scene that we did not mention that you think would be better? Don’t miss the MTV Movie Awards hosted by Andy Samberg live from Los Angeles May 30th.
