Some young actors easily get caught up in the glamor of it all; the late night parties, the free press, and the feeling of being on top of the world. However, there is one child star that has remarkably been able to side step that fate and flourish into one of the most sought after Hollywood actors.
If you could not have guessed who, yes, we are talking about Shia LaBeouf, the Disney star turned international movie star. A lot of us remember Shia as the goofy brother of Christy Carlson Romano in Even Stevens but these days Shia is stepping out of the shadows and paving a bright future for himself.
His success in the cult hit Disturbia proved that Shia could not only carry a film, but also bring home the big numbers. He followed that film with lead roles in Transformers, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and this summer he is set the steal the box office with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
Shia LaBeouf is reprising the role of Sam Witwicky in the highly anticipated summer blockbuster Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The last time we saw Sam he saved the world and also managed to win the heart of Mikaela, played by the smoking hot Megan Fox. Up next, Sam must save the world in between attending English 101 and web chatting with his girlfriend Mikaela. Sam is dragged into a deadly war between the Autobots and Decepticons and salvation rest in his hands.
So can the former child star turned international super star do it all over again and break box office numbers with the return of Transformers this June? Shia will be getting some help from costars Megan Fox, Rainn Wilson, Josh Duhamel, and the voice of Hugo Weaving as Megatron. Check out the new trailer for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen coming to a theater near you on June 24, 2009.
