Catch Up With the HSM Cast

The super smash hit High School Musical spawned careers for all of the leading East High students. Nowadays you can't turn on E! News without hearing about Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens grabbing coffee or Ashley Tisdale working out. Check in with the cast of High School Musical and find out which star is ready to drop their sophomore album.

Lucas Grabeel appears in the Oscar nominated film Milk and runs his own production company, 14341 Production. Much to the fans surprise and enjoyment, Ashley Tisdale took a break from filming They Came From Upstairs to make a guest appearance on The Suite Life On Deck and reprise her role of Maddie Fitzpatrick. Teen heartthrob Zac Efron keeps scoring major roles, playing opposite of Matthew Perry in 17 Again this spring. Girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens is about to begin a major press tour for her upcoming film Bandslam this spring and is enjoying her time off. And finally, Corbin Bleu is splitting his time in between acting and singing. Corbin is set to premiere his sophomore album, Speed of Light, on March 10th.

Corbin Bleu opened up to MySpace to talk about his upcoming album, his experience in the studio and his excitement for Speed of Light. Bleu said, "I have been so much more comfortable in the studio this time. Before I was really learning a lot and I am finally at the point where I can just go in and play." Listening to samples of upcoming sounds from Speed of Light shows Corbin in a light that will surprise you.

Corbin opened up about his song, "Moments That Matter." Corbin feels that family is very important and while in the studio he wanted to express his feelings. "I wanted to write a song about the mushy gushy stuff so we ended up writing a song called 'Moments That Matter.' It has a lot of things about my family, first love and everything in life that means a lot to you." Check out "Moments That Matter" and let us know what you think of the new sounds of Corbin.
