Could Isle Esme Get Too Sexy for Twilight Fans?

Intensely passionate, painfully romantic, and endearingly beautiful are only a few words that come to mind when reading Isle Esme (chapter 5) in Stephenie Meyer's last Twilight (2008) installment, Breaking Dawn.  Meyer spent over 1,765 pages building up to this monumental chapter, in which Bella and Edward travel to Isle Esme to celebrate their honeymoon, and finally consummate their love as newlyweds.

Breaking Dawn the film is not final; however, it seems to be inevitable at this point, prompting the actors to talk about the sensitive nature of the subject matter.  The cross generational books have brought together generations and given them a common bond, but will that all change when Breaking Dawn hits theaters in the future?

Bella remarks on page 83 of Breaking Dawn , "How did people do this -- swallow all their fears and trust someone else so implicitly with every imperfection and fear they had -- with less than the absolute commitment that Edward had given me?  If it weren’t Edward out there, if I didn’t know in every cell of my body that he loved me as much as I loved him -- unconditionally and irrevocably and, to be honest, irrationally -- I’d never be able to get up off this floor."

Meyer does a beautiful job with the intensely sensitive and special moments that Edward and Bella share while on their Honeymoon; it was tasteful and extremely classy.  However, when the film comes to the big screen will the producers keep the innocence that Meyer so carefully weaved throughout this chapter?

Will parents be upset if Hollywood tries to sex up Breaking Dawn in order to drawn in a larger audience?  One parent, and actor in the franchise, spoke with Hollywoodlife.com at a pre Golden Globe party who put out his official plea to make sure that Breaking Dawn stays PG-13.  Peter Facinelli, the concerned parent said, "I have a 12-year-old daughter [Luca Bella, whose mom is Jennie Garth].  She’s a fan and I’d want her not to feel left out or awkward."

The actor went on to say, "Hopefully it’s a PG-13 type of situation.  I’m sure the producers and directors know what they want—and especially what they are doing -- but I’m sure they don’t want to alienate fans."

Since we know that Meyer will not allow any of the films to be rated R, we know it will not happen, however it is an interesting topic.  Will the producers of this film try to push the sex envelope to make this film sexier and to create an even bigger hype around the main stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart?  As fans of the franchise, do you think they can portray the intense passion that Bella and Edward share on Isle Esme without having to get overly sexual?
