Kevin Jonas, the eldest member of the pop band, Jonas Brothers, wed longtime girlfriend Danielle Deleasa in Long Island Saturday December 19th. The fairy tale nuptials took place at the luxurious Oheka Castle in posh Huntington, Long Island. Kevin supplied his fiancé with the perfect Disney fairytale wedding -- but with white out conditions and two feet of snow piling down, would Mother Nature crash the party?

The fairytale began last July when Kevin Jonas, who was on tour, flew home to New Jersey to surprise his girlfriend Danielle. Kevin showed up on Danielle's doorstep with a three-carat diamond promoting an immediate yes response from the bride to be. The couple who met in 2007 while both separately vacationing in The Bahamas began to plan their fairy tale wedding.
Amidst all the planning, cake sampling, and dress fittings, there was one thing the couple did not take into account, Mother Nature. Planning a December wedding can be iffy with the weather, but snow on Long Island is few and far between. On Saturday, December 19th, the day the duo planned to marry, a blizzard also planned on hitting the island.

Party planner extraordinaire, Michael Russo of Roses-n-Lollipops worked with the happy couple every step of the way while planning the Disney-esque wedding. The team had everything planned from the perfectly placed flowers to the smorgasbord of Caribbean, Asian, and Italian dishes for hungry guests. One thing that was not planned was the massive snow storm that came crashing down late Friday night. When asked about Mother Nature crashing the party, Russo said, "The snow only made it look more like a winter wonderland."
People Magazine spoke with the happy couple who stated, "We're so happy that we're finally married and we were able to share the special moment with family, friends, and loved ones." Despite the two feet of snow that walloped the island, 400 brave guests braved the conditions including fellow Camp Rock (2008) star Demi Lovato. Kevin's brothers and bandmates, Joe and Nick, were on hand to serve as the Best Men.
Oheka Castle caters to celebrity weddings; former NSYNC star Joey Fatone and Kelly Bladwin tied the knot back in September of 2004. The lavish castle has also been featured in films, most recently Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz's flick What Happens in Vegas (2008). Pictures of the happy couple will soon follow, so stay tune as this happy story develops. Wonder where the honeymooners are planning to celebrate?
