Miley Cyrus is young and hot right now. With songs topping the pop charts and the country charts, she has a voice to woo us no matter what our style is. Now, she is working on her next album and remaking a song that first came out before she was even born. There is also talk of a musical hiatus after the release of this album.
In 1988, Poison released the hit "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," and in 2010, Miley will be releasing her cover of the great ballad. Miley’s mom, Tish Cyrus, told People magazine, "'Every Rose' is one of her all-time favorite songs, and she is really excited about cutting it." Bret Michaels, the lead singer of Poison, was present during the New York recording and is rumored to be playing guitar for the cover.
Recently, Miley talked to the UK hosts of GMTV and said this of her desire for some time off from her music; "I want to do my last pop record. I'm working on a record right now," she told the show. "I kind of want this to be my last record for a little while and be able to take a break and just get all the types of music that I really love ... you know, my favorite styles, because in a few years, as I grow up, so will my fans, and I won't have to focus on that as much, and I'll be able to have more of the sound of music that I'm into."
Here is a clip of the interview from the GMTV show. She chats about meeting the Queen -- hear what song she performs for the Queen of England! She also talks about her recent birthday and the 80’s themed party she had and briefly about her new movie coming up in April 2010.
