For the better part of 2009, Robert Pattinson has been under the media spotlight. With the massive success of Twilight (2008), the semi-unknown actor went from singing in local London pubs to becoming the most bankable young actor in Hollywood. Along with the fame and fortune came the rumors and the endless public fascination with the British hunk.
The cast of Twilight (2008) flew to Vancouver last spring to shoot The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009) and that is when the rumors began. Secluded in his hotel, Pattinson and his costar Kristen Stewart bonded over the fact that they were both trapped. The bond grew even closer over the filming of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010) in August.
The media and the fans could not get enough of Robsten and for months there were competing rumors of the couple dating, getting married, and breaking up. Every time you walked down the aisle in the supermarket you would see these outrageous claims about the couple, but until now, the truth was a mystery. In an all new interview, Robert Pattinson comes cleans and tries to set the record straight in a new interview about his supposed torrid affair with KStew.
Pattinson told Italian Vanity Fair, "I am single...almost everything that came out about my private life is false." When asked why he thought the rumors began, he mentioned, "I think it happens because, really, there is not much to say about what I’m doing. While I am filming, I live practically [like a] recluse in [a] hotel. I come out only to work, and sometimes to go out for dinner. But, if you read the magazines, it seems that I have a frantic high life."
