GlamGate'09: Did the Singer Go Too Far?

Smart move by the Adam Lambert camp! Today the former American Idol (TV) runner-up debuts his new album For Your Entertainment and all anyone can talk about is Lambert's sexy and daring American Music Awards (TV) performance last night. The singer has placed himself on the chopping block this morning and we have the video; you decide if the singer went too far last night at the awards show.

In true Glambert form, the performance was over the top, edgy, and displayed the rocker's range and personality. It was Lambert's coming out party to the music world and his racy performance split his fans right down the fence. Some are angered, calling the performance distasteful, while others are pleased with the high energy performance.

Musicians love to be daring and take any chance to show off their creativity live on stage like Lambert did last night. Throughout the years of music awards we have celebrated some of the most daring performances on stage. Lady Gaga Noose: At the 2009 VMA's Lady Gaga took the stage to perform her new hit song "Paparazzi" and at the end of the song, the camera scans to the Lady Gaga who had hung herself from the crystal chandelier. Not only did they show the actress dangling from the noose, they also had a shot of blood pouring out of the actress eyes.
