Simply put, Robin Antin does it all. Besides being the brains behind the international superstar band Pussycat Dolls, she is a successful clothing designer, world-class choreographer, and has just teamed up with Matt Goss to bring his fabulously hot and fresh new act to Vegas. On top of all of that, Antin helps empower women by making them feel sexy in their own skin through her dancing, through her music, and even through her clothes. The All-American star oozes with self-confidence and has spent the last fifteen years putting together the Pussycat Dolls brand. PopStar spoke with Pussycat Dolls creator/manger about the rumored band split, her new workout video due out in December, and even some ideas about the Pussycat Dolls on Broadway.
Can you tell us about your new work out video Pussycat Dolls Workout due out this December?
It was funny I was just looking at the preview of it on Amzaon.com and it's great. It was so awesome; I have been waiting to do this for many years. I had a couple different companies coming after me wanting to do this and sure enough Anchor Bay put the deal together. The DVD to me is very educational because you really do get to learn how to dance. I teach the choreography in a slow concentrated way, I go through the move and always continue to go back to step 1 and take it back. The repetition really gets in your brain. You carry it around with you and use it as your dance bible, even if you learn four steps a day and at some point you will get it.
Sounds like a great workout, but does it work?
It gives you a nice muscle tone without being too muscular, I am living proof. I put it in my computer every day and I do it beginning to end. I know it's funny that I am working out to myself but I know that it works. It's fun, I teach "Don't Cha" and "Buttons" which gets a little more challenging but it is great for someone who has a little more dance experience. But again, anyone can learn it. We are having fun and getting a great workout and toning our body to be more of a dancers shape.

You stepped in as Manager for British singer Matt Goss who is currently headlining the Palms Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The reviews have been amazing, the fans seem extremely pleased, how does this all sit with you?
Matt is someone that I have respected for a very long time. He has come from such a great career, before I met him he was in a very successful pop band Bros back in the early 90's. When I met Matt a couple years ago, I knew that he was doing new music and his own thing. This insanely talented guy has probably the best male vocals I have ever heard.
You have done everything from television to Vegas, is there anything else you want to do that you haven't yet?
One of the things I want to do with the Pussycat Dolls that I am talking about is Pussycat Dolls on Broadway.
Oh wow, that would be a great play! Can you give us anymore details?
I have the idea with the Pussycat Dolls story. The real story which is my story, I started PSC in a garage and worked my way up. It is a good, wild, crazy story but my dream is to do it in a way that Jersey Boys was able to do it. Tell the real story with the huge hits and use all the music to fill the whole show. It is going past dreaming about it now, I believe in it.

Speaking of the Pussycat Dolls, what is up next for them?
We are working on music right now. We are hoping to have a single out really soon. It is hard for me to say when but really soon, I would like it out in the next couple months. Hopefully by the end of the year, that was the conversation we all had yesterday. We have Nicole going back into the studio and we have all the songs for the new album which will be another round of great songs and new fresh music.
Rumors of the Pussycat Dolls have been haunting the band over the past few months, can you clear the air for us once and for all?
There is no way the Pussycat Doll are breaking up. It is a girl group so people are always saying they are going to break up, there are guys in the group that have a destiny in their mind of where they want to be and want to go. And I appreciate and respect them for that because they have been with us for a long time. The truth is I have had a lot of different girls in the Pussycat Dolls over the years which many people did not know before the band. I had many reincarnations of the PCD so if a couple of girls want to go out and do something else it is easy for me to find other girls. My trademark motto is behind every woman is a Pussycat Doll; there are many girls that I can bring in. I know that I will make it great, sexy and make everyone feel like a Pussycat Doll. That is the beauty of what I have, a brand that is bigger than all of us.
The Pussycat Dolls empower women to embrace their sexuality and individualism; was that something that evolved over time or when you began was that your goal?
It’s funny, that is the first time anyone has asked me if it exactly just evolved like that. The truth is, it really did. I knew that is what I wanted to do but I didn’t know how to articulate it in the very beginning.
Over the past years you have had Carmen Electra, Christina Applegate, Charlize Theron, and many more. Who else out there would you love to have as a guest Pussycat Doll?
I would definitely love to have Beyonce. She is someone that I look and I say, "she is the ultimate." I've had Gwen Stefani, Scarlett Johansson and some many beautiful, incredible women, what more can I get? I have always wanted Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna of course, these are woman that get it, they get me and even Madonna would be great.
Message to the fans.
Thank you for all the support from the very beginning. I started the Pussycat Dolls back in 1995 which was about fifteen years. Thank you for supporting me and believing in me, believing in me makes me believe in all of fans.
