Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing the magician who stole the heart of Rachel Ray as the house magician, named "Entertainer of the Year" for the third year in a row, and who holds the kick butt tagline, "like a magician but cooler." Since childhood Justin Kredible aka Justin Willman has been honing his magic skills by incorporating his own style and infusing his larger than life personality into each act. This summer kred-heads all over rejoice as the entertainer hits the road for another tour filled with magic and laughs. He's got the look, he's got the personality, and this summer he's coming for you!
The magician extraordinaire is so much more than just your neighborhood magician; he has toured with Grammy nominee Jason Marz, co-hosted the spooky yet deathly funny Room 401 on MTV, and headlined Magic X with fellow magicians this past month in Los Angeles. Making laughter appear out of thin air, this ultra hip magician is redefining magic in the millennium; get ready for an edgy, lively, and powerful magic show that will leave you puzzled, energized, and ready to learn more about magic.
We have become a society obsessed with Twitter this year and there is one celebrity that admits his love for Twitter is something special. Justin Kredible often tweets fun, useless facts; like did you know that all polar bears are southpaws? Not only will you learn useless facts that will come in handy one day (perhaps), you will also explore the world through Justin's eyes with his regular Twitpics. PopStar spoke with the spunky magician who spoke about his Twitter obsession, his summer college tour, and his upcoming role on The Suite Life on Deck.
PopStar: You are a very active member of Twitter and every day you provide your followers with random facts. What goes into finding these useless yet intriguing random facts?
Justin Kredible: It is an interesting process; I probably go through fifty useless facts before I find one that is Twitter worthy. I like to find one and try and make some funny joke about it, but often a useless fact can stand on its own.
PopStar: What is your useless fact finder?
Justin Kredible: Google.
PopStar: You are also a big fan of Twitpic. Can you tell us a little about how you use it in everyday life?
Justin Kredible: This summer I find myself doing lots of fun random things, so what better way to give someone the feeling that you are tight there with you than to Twitpic.
PopStar: Be honest, how often do you tweet a day?
Justin Kredible: I probably tweet once a day. If I don't have anything worth saying, I try to refrain.
PopStar: Why do you like Twittering?
Justin Kredible: I find twittering is way more interesting while I'm on the road. It’s a one man show and I am out traveling doing a solo show; so many times I don't have a lot of people to converse with so Twitter becomes my companion; my therapist on the road if you will.

PopStar: You have been supporting your friend's band Beatnik Jr a lot on Twitter, can you tell us about that?
Justin Kredible: For years, I have been hosting this kid's battle of the band where kids ages 6-12 rock out. It is pretty serious business and these kids are pretty hardcore. My friend Jordan who organizes the whole event is an amazing guy and has such an amazing commitment to the kids and this program. Jordan is also in a great band called Beatnik Jr who are competing to be the opening act for Bruce Springsteen in London this summer; so I am trying to help him out by getting the word out.
PopStar: This summer you will be going out on tour through the US once again. Tell us about your summer tour.
Justin Kredible: I do a lot of colleges. I love touring colleges; it is one of my favorites audiences because college students tend to be the hippest, most intelligent, open-minded and forward thinking people in our society. The shows are hip, topical, edgy, funny, and with a lot of cool bad ass magic in it.
PopStar: How do audience goers' react to magic?
Justin Kredible: People watch magic in different ways. Some people love to watch magic and love believing it and therefore they enjoy it fully. However, there are other people that like to watch it and instead of going with the flow they are constantly trying to figure it out. So therefore they get really frustrated when the magic is really good because they can't figure it out. I try to urge those people to relax and enjoy it for what it is; I am not trying to trick you, I am just having a good time entertaining you.
PopStar: You have such an amazing career. Can you tell us how you got started?
Justin Kredible: Most boys go through a magic phase and when I was twelve years old and me and my friends took magic classes I fell in love. They were okay with it but lost interest and I fell in love and was hooked. As a kid, the first time you can do something that has an adult blown away and asking how you did it is an empowering feeling.
PopStar: Does your family support your magic? You must be terrific at parties?
Justin Kredible: Yeah, I am a pretty good guy to invite to a party; I will bust out some tricks and keep it lively. My parents are super supportive. Even when I first started my mom would help pick out my magic outfits and my dad would drive me to and from parties that I would be performing at. They are super supportive and encouraged it as a career as long as I got a degree in something, as a backup plan.
PopStar: Can you tell us about your DVD Street Kred?
Justin Kredible: It is available for purchase on the website. I feel magic is one of those things that a lot more people would do if they knew where to start. So what I do is I take ten tricks that are easy for non-magicians. It is a collection of ten tricks that you can do at parties, at work, or on dates that are social icebreakers.
PopStar: Do you have a mentor that was able to show you the ropes?
Justin Kredible: I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri where there is a great community of magicians. When I was growing up in high school there were a lot of local magicians who were very willing to extend their advice and be supportive. A lot of stuff you can learn from books, but having other magicians to bounce ideas off of was key and it was very important for me.
PopStar: Do you make up your own tricks?
Justin Kredible: I have. It is hard to come up with new tricks because there has been so much that has already been done. A lot of magic is stuff that might look like a new trick but it's an old classic magic redisguised with different props. What I have a knack for is taking an old classic and putting a hip spin on it.
PopStar: You gotta tell us about your upcoming role on the hit Disney series Suite Life on Deck.
Justin Kredible: The show now takes place on a cruise ship and all the kids live and get schooled on the cruise ship. I play the amazing Armando who happens to be the new hot shot magician on the cruise ship who is like the Justin Timberlake of magic. London played by Brenda Song gets a big crush on Armando and is very jealous of my lovely assistant so she sabotages the show and chaos ensues and to know how we fix this crazy mess, you will have to tune in!
PopStar: Do you think this can turn into a reoccurring role?
Justin Kredible: It is open ended; it would be so much fun to come back. For me it was great to act in a professional environment. For years I have put some much energy into being a magician but I have always wanted to be an actor. I have never been in LA long enough to audition a lot so this was a cool chance to start that second dream.
PopStar: Message to your fans.
Justin Kredible: A message, a tweet, if you will. A big hug of support for all of them. I love my fanbase because what happens is I will have people who become fans who have never done magic but they dig my style of comedy and performing. What I love doing is taking people and converting them into magic fans, kred-heads if you will.
The "Entertainer of the Year" for the third year in a row is hitting the road again this summer and kred-heads throughout the states are rallying up for their favorite magician. If you are in the mood for some serious magic and even more serious laughs check out when Justin Kredible is coming to a city near you. Also make sure that you keep up to date with Justin's daily useless fact tweets and his ever enlightening Twitpics.
