Can you guess whose birthdays are today based on the following clues?
First up, Sirius Black of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Gary Oldman, 51, has quite a long and distinguished career. More recently, he can be seen in The Dark Knight playing James Gordon, the police officer who actually trusted Batman. He also played a Rabbi in The Unborn. He's currently working on a 3-D version of A Christmas Carol, which is in the post-productin stages right now!
Greg Ellis turns 41 today. You can catch him in theaters this May in the new Star Trek movie playing the role of Chief Engineer Olsen. The vast majority of his work is in the voiceover field. You've probably heard his voice hundreds of times and not even known it! He's played everything from a dove in Dr. Dolittle: A Tinsel Town Tail to Turk Falso in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. But that's just a start. He was Nigel in Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties and Alister Fletcher in Tomb Raider: Underworld.
We have another soap opera star celebrating a birthday today. Kassie DePaiva turns 48 today. With more than three hundred episodes on One Life to Live under her belt, we certainly hope this birthday proves to be another year of great life and excellent health for the beautiful actress who was born in Morganfield, Kentucky.
Kevin Federline turns 31 today. He's famous by extension. Really! He doesn't have many credits to his name. He played a character named Jason on One Tree Hill for three episodes and he played Cole 'Pig' Tritt in an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, but other than that, not much. Sadly, the negative press he produces never seems to stop. Some recent news includes him denying Britney's children from seeing some of her very own music videos.
Next up is Matthew Broderick. He's celebrating his 47th birthday today! He was the voice of Despereaux in The Tale of Despereaux, Walter Kresby in The Stepford Wives, Simba in The Lion King, The Lion King II: Simba's Pride, and The Lion King 1½. He's also well known for playing in such diverse movies as Election alongside a young Reese Witherspoon, Inspector Gadget, The Cable Guy, and The Freshman. A fine actor indeed, we look forward to more great movies from this Hollywood staple!
And finally, we come to Rosie O'Donnell who also turns 47 today! I'm guessing her rise to fame came from the movie A League of Their Own co-starring alongside Madonna herself. She has been a guest star on countless television shows, including The Nanny, Murphy Brown, Ally McBeal, Will & Grace, Judging Amy, Queer as Folk, and Nip/Tuck. We're sure to see much more of her comedic style in the years to come!
