Nominees: 30th Annual Young Artist Awards

What happens when you squeeze the star power of Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers together?  Out pops Russian's hottest, biggest, and most powerful band called Street Magic.  Street Magic will be attending the 30th Annual Young Artist Awards along with two hundred plus talented young artists.  Nominees from Canada and the United States have been scoured and scooped up to be featured for their hard work and amazing accomplishments.  On Sunday, March 29th, 2009 at the Globe Theater in Universal Studios the envelopes will be presented to the winners. 

This is an exciting award show because everyone we love is everyone involved!   We all loved when she played alongside Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in Twilight and this year Twilight star Christian Serratos has been earned a nomination for Best Supporting Young Actress in a Feature Film.   There is a battle this year for Best Leading Young Actress in a Television Series between Miranda Cosgrove, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Taylor Momsen, Vanessa Morgan, and Shailene Woodely.  Do we dare bring up the heated compeition between the young men?  You've got Nat Wolff, Jake T. For the past thirty years, the Young Artist Awards have been honoring young Hollywood for their extraordinary talents in film, theater, music, and television.  A long standing member of the Hollywood Foreign Press, Maureen Dragone, championed for the youth and created an awards show that would showcase the talent of the overlooked youth.  Maureen Dragone is the President and Founder of the Young Artist Awards and this year she will be helping them celebrate their 30th Anniversary. 

This year the Young Artist Awards will feature an elite group of talented and deserving young artists who all come to celebrate each others amazing accomplishments.  Winners are determined by secret ballot of all associated with the Young Artist Association as well as former nominees.  The fun part of the awards show is that each winner gets up on stage and has the opportunity to give an acceptance speech.  Take a look at some of the 2009 Young Artist Award Nominations that will be revealed Sunday, March 29th, 2009 at the Globe Theater in Universal Studios.
