Mario Lopez played the lovable jock AC Slater alongside teen heart throb Mark-Paul Gosselaar, geeky Dustin Diamond, fashionista Lark Voorhies, talented Elizabeth Berkley, beautiful Tiffani Thiessen, and Dennis Haskins as the goofy Principle Richard Belding in the hit television series Saved By the Bell. After leaving Saved by the Bell, Mario moved onto the hit show Pacific Blue and from there moving to daytime soaps starring in The Bold and the Beautiful as Dr. Christian Ramirez. Fast forward a few years and you can still find Mario Lopez on television every day bringing smiles to viewers all over America.
Mario Lopez is the host of Extra, the second longest-running entertainment magazine on television. Mario has great talent and charisma plus the camera just loves his bright contagious smile which makes him one of the best talk show hosts on television. When Mario is not in the studio shooting clips he is traveling around the world reporting the daily dirt to millions of viewers. This past week Mario made a trip to New York City for work and took some time out to goof around in front of the camera.
PopStar has some great pictures of the Extra host while visiting one of his favorite cities, New York City. Mario took time out of his busy shooting schedule to do things that all New Yorkers do. That includes walking dogs, playing frisbee, riding the subway, eating a sidewalk hot dog, driving a pedicab and of course having your portrait drawn in Central Park. What is your favorite thing to do when you visit New York City?

Make sure to check out Mario Lopez on Extra every day on NBC at 5pm!
