Jonas Brothers Thanks for being such an inspiration throughout the time you guys have been a band. Since you 3 have been Jonas Brothers, all I wanted was to go for my dream of being a singer and guitar player. I'm actually taking guitar lessons at a nearby music store. Soon, I will be playing along to your songs,but not as well as you. Then, after I learn guitar I will be taking singing lessons. I already sing,but my mom says I'm not good. Kristy,Amber and I want to start a band.We have songs written and want to be able to perform just like you. The songs are personal and are straight from the heart. Now, that I'm a teenager I can see how much stress and heartbreak comes along with it. Moving on to my family, My Step-Dad,Dad, and brother,Darren make fun of me because I'm a huge Jonas Fan. I don't care until a certain point, keep saying something over and over again. Then, I say something. A Jonas Fan should be proud of being a fan. It shouldn't matter what other people think. Especially my Dad because he likes Kiss, and he says guy bands are stupid! Not going to settle with me. There's more to the reason why you guys are a band I like. Besides, Inspiring me to presue my dreams and being proud of who I am at heart, you also have been there for me. I know that you are thinking 'how have we been there for her if we don't know her personally'. When I needed someone to talk to, I would talk to myself or my walls covered in Jonas. Hey, I'm Courtney. I'm thirteen years old, from Michigan. One day I beleive it was someday two summers ago, I was listening to Radio Disney. I heard something playing, I couldn't really tell who it was but it was different and I liked it. I turned it up, and yeah it was very catchy. I rembered some of the lyrics so when I got home I looked up the song, It was 'Year 3000'. Ever since then, i guess you could call me obsessive. I ate, slept, and breathed Jonas Brothers. In my room I have three walls covered in your faces, and I own all of your CD's. My two bestfriends and I, consider ourselves abnormally huge fans. It seems like all of our conversations somehow or other lead to you guys. You guys are really my role models, you guys show me that its fine to be a christian, modest girl, who doesnt follow the crowd so much, and who speaks her own voice. Even with all of your success you guys are still very humble people based off of family and values. Most people say, that have a celebrity crush. Well I just happen to be lucky enough to have three. Keep doing what your doing. Congrats on you American Music Award, your performance was amazing. Along with the Dallas Halftime performance. Hey Jobros! Hope you guys and your family had an awesome Thanksgiving! I could tell you guys obviously enjoyed yourselves at the Dallas Cowboys Halftime Show performance. That was awesome. You guys got some serious dance moves. :) I can't wait for your of JONAS to be on DisneyChannel. I already miss watching Living the Dream. I wish you guys made another sequel to that so that it continues and stay strong in DisneyChannel history. haha.... Christmas is almost here and I got to hear your song on the All Wrapped Up! Christmas CD. Your song "Joyful Kings" is so original. I thought it was pretty cool on how you guys combined two songs and just made it to one. I have great faith in you guys that your music will leave a mark and make it to history. You guys are seriously the next Beatles. l0l I'm not trying to go too far. The Beatles are awesome and have awesome songs but you guys, to me, remind me of like a mini version of them. If somehow you composed a song with Paul McCartney. Kevin, Joe, & Nick, I just wanted to let you know that you three are three of the few celevrities I look up to. I find it spectacular that, despite the twists & turns of Hollywood, you all manage to stay so grouded in faith and family. It really is unbelieveable. In addition, Congratualtions on winning the 'Breakthrough Artist of the Year' award at the American music awards. You guys really derseve it. I actually watched the show just to see you perform & win the award. There was no doubt in my mind that you were going to win. Your performance was absolutely amazing!
Your parents, family and friends, must be so proud of you. I know your fans are. You guys followed your dreams & you made it. You are such and inspiration to anyone out there that has a dream they believe is just out of reach, myself included. You showed us that with hard work, dedication, mindset, and faith, any dream can be reached. This has helped me to realize that my dreams of (#1) changing the way society looks at and judges women, in order to alleviate pressures that young girls and teens face (#2) majoring in psychology in college to prove that everyone, everywhere, on some level - no matter how miniscule - needs christ. "In order to blame someone for something, you must first believe in his/her existence." My dream for changing society's views of women comes from personal experience. For a time, I wanted to be what society called beautiful. I had been made fun of as a child, so I wanted to prove to society that I was more than the "bookworm". Unfortuntely, i did not do this in such a positive way. I started watching what I was eating, despite that fact that the doctor said I was underweight, almost to a point of aneorexia. With my family beside me and the faith in my heart, I pulled through and realized that I was made the way God wanted me to be, and that is enough. I don't want young girls to face the same pressures and face them the way I did. Anyway, I got off subject. I want to thank you again, for being not only an inspiration to all your fans, but also a role model to all of us that look up to you. I know that most of the fans have favorites among the 3 of you, whether is be Joe, or Nick, or Kevin. I have to admit that I am not like most fans. I can not pick one of you over the other. I think you all have amazing & funny personalities, as well as handsome looks. And I would have fallen for you guys even if you weren't the Jonas Brothers. You guys are funny & sweet & well-mannered & absolutely fantastic.
