Heath Ledger Fan Mail Letters

Dear Heath,

You were an amazing actor and an amazing person.

No one could have played The Joker better than you, you were perfect.

It was funny when it first came out because everyone edited their pictures so they looked like him, it made me giggle. Everyone went round saying 'Why So Serious?' to. It's got seriously oversaid now, although I don't think it's got old.

You're lovely in '10 Things I Hate About You' The quote 'don't let anyone ever make you feel like you don't deserve what you want.' really means a lot to me.

I remember when I was 12 and I first watched 'The Brothers Grimm', I didn't know who you were and you were just the person. I thought it was real. It was the first movie I saw with you in it, I'm going to watch it again after I've finished this letter.

I'm looking forward to next year. I'm looking forward to seeing your next movie 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus'

I like having things to look forward to. It gives me an incentive to keep going to that point.

I still have to watch Brokeback Mountain, i've heard it's incredible. I think i'll save it for a while so it can be something else to look forward to in the future.

Writing this letter, it's made me realize how much you inspired me, it's also hit me that you're not here anymore, but that's no reason to stop looking up to you.

Yes, I know you're dead. Does that mean I can't write a letter to you? I honestly don't care, I'm going to just put my heart and soul into this. When I heard you were dead, it honestly didn't hit me until about a month ago. And then I barely was able to stop from bawling like a baby. Heath, you were and will always be the greatest actor out there. The Dark Knight was so incredibly successful, because of you I'm sure. You were just born to act, babe. To prove my point- I don't see how anyone but you could possibly make a deranged killer decked out in make-up look hot. But Heath, you totally did. I was rooting for you instead of Batman the whole time. [=

The part you played in 10 Things I Hate About You was possibly as far away from your part in the Dark Knight as it could be. Same goes for Brothers Grimm. But that just proves how ah-maz-ing you are. In 10 Things- lo and behold- this gorgeous god of an actor can sing too! You just keep getting better and better.

Hollywood needs you. You were the best in the business. And the real stuff too, not one of those cheap trash that claim to be actors. I know you're in Heaven, just smiling at all the silly fans who cried over you. We miss you so much Heath! It's not fair, but just know that you're the best.
